Customer Testimonials:
"This was one of the best parts of our trip. We
were able to slow down and spend some real time together. Reasonable
prices;
you pick a bucket,
priced
according to what types of stones are in there, and sift through it, picking
out the stones. The two owners were so friendly, and never got annoyed
with us. I will certainly go back." Rosemary R.
"We are a family of four with an 8yo boy and a 20yo girl and EVERY
ONE of us had a BLAST!! It's just off the road, plenty of free parking
and
includes a store as well. I had one of my gems cut ($45) & it's beautiful.
Extremely helpful husband/wife owners - very kind and very knowledgeable.
Cooler & more comfortable than mine in Dahlonega Don't miss this.
We will definitely go back!" Customer from Charleston, SC
"They were so nice and helpful while we were panning
for gold. We were not doing a good job and needed a lot of help and they
never got mad they were just so nice. we spent 10.00 and were there for
2 hours. Where else can you get 2 hrs of fun for that price." Michelle
from Chattanooga, TN
"The opportunity
to mine for gold and gems was most memorable for my husband and myself.
It was our first trip. The
attendants
were very helpful
and patient with the various questions even though I am sure each question
is asked 100 times per day. I highly recommend
a visit to Duke's Creek Mine." Customer from Box Springs, Ga
"Duke's Creek Mine is a great place to take out
of town visitors of any age! It was fun for everyone from 6 years old
to
64 years old. The easy
drive from Lawrenceville, GA was little over an hour but well worth
it. We had planned to stop at Duke's Creek then head for Helen, but
never made it to Helen. Stones were easy to find for the younger ones
but smaller stones were as challenging as the older ones wanted to make
it. Everyone left with their own bags of treasures." Customer from Lawrenceville, Ga
